About The Position

The Spice Room Operator - Mixer II works in Cargill’s protein and salt business at its Round Rock, Texas location. The role feeds materials into machines, adds ingredients according to specifications, operates and monitors medium-cycle machine operations, and makes occasional basic adjustments to meet product specifications. It also involves collecting product samples, recording data, performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting, and tracking food safety, quality, and production information.

Requirements

Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Must be 18 years or older.
Ability to perform basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

Feed materials into machines and add hand-measured or premeasured ingredients according to specifications.
Operate and monitor medium-cycle machine operations and make occasional basic adjustments to ensure product specifications are met.
Collect product samples, determine necessary adjustments with assistance as needed, and use computer systems to input and record data.
Use power tools and hand tools to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot machine issues, and work with others to resolve issues.
Maintain food safety and quality records on paper and electronically, including tallying production quantities, marking goods, tracking movement of goods to storage, and recording information manually and through computerized systems.
Perform other duties as assigned.
