About The Position

Ryder is hiring a Forklift Operator (also described as a Case Picker) in Victorville, California. The role supports warehouse fulfillment and distribution, handling packaged goods such as baking soda, cat litter, and detergent. Operators use stand-up reach forklifts in clean, organized facilities that prioritize safety. The position pays $24.71 per hour, with an additional $0.60 per hour for night-shift work, and pays weekly. The schedule is Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.

The position includes paid training and support for career development. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One or more years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Adequate math skills.
• Ability to recognize and read location codes and product codes.
• Ability to meet and exceed established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships across organizational levels, including peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors.
• Ability to multitask and maintain strong organization and time-management skills.
• Detail-oriented, with excellent follow-up practices.

Responsibilities

• Pick products and cases.
• Palletize, hand-stack, and stretch-wrap products as required.
• Safely operate material-handling equipment.
• Assist with cycle counting and inventory control as required.
• Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
