About The Position

Requirements

• Comfort with working EOD hours (11:00am – 7:00pm) and providing holiday coverage
• Team player who enjoys working in a high performing culture and is open to evolving and changing priorities
• Interest in in Gen AI tools (including data parsing and scraping) and overall comfort with data.
• Passion for improving process with technology.
• Solid understanding of debt instruments and investment accounting
• Solid prioritization and organizations skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable
• Undergraduate Degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics or other related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director in building out an End-of-day function within Credit Investment Operations.
• Act as key EOD control person to ensure accurate holdings, pricing, cash, and performance for our Credit Investments team.
• Provide valuable insights and commentary when necessary.
• Ensure accuracy of trade tickets and accounting entries.
• Maintain an ongoing effective working relationship with internal investment staff and external asset managers to ensure issues are discussed and resolved and financial controls and reporting requirements are met.
• Continually strive for operational excellence; seek ways to streamline processes, create operational efficiencies and foster a culture of continuous improvement, enhanced controls and data integrity (with a focus on using Gen AI tools).
• Ensure process documentation is kept up to date.
• Prioritize workload in a timely fashion to meet deadlines.
