About The Position
Golden Plough Inn, located in Peddler's Village, has a part-time Night Audit position available. The primary objective of this role is to welcome and register guests, make daily reservations, and handle telephone inquiries relating to The Golden Plough Inn and Peddler's Village, displaying a friendly and positive attitude towards all guests. The Night Auditor will handle all incoming reservation requests accurately, complete daily reservations count for arrivals and departures, and coordinate with the Front Office Manager or General Manager for decisions relating to group room blocks and guests' special requests.
Requirements
- Must be available to work overnight shift (11pm-7am)
- Availability to work Weekends and Holidays
- Basic Accounting skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong guest service and communications skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous hotel front office experience
Responsibilities
- Run audit in PMS (Property Management System)
- Reconciliation of daily cash and credit card transactions
- Find and correct billing issues
- Balance daily cash receipts at shift end and prepare deposit bags
- Register all incoming guests, obtaining all pertinent information.
- Communicate with next shift all information needed to deliver exceptional guest service.
- Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
