Saint Alphonsus Health System is hiring a part-time Certified Surgical Technologist for its Nampa OB Department. This benefited night-shift role works 24 hours per week and supports both surgical procedures and patient care within the maternity unit, as well as administrative duties. Shifts may include weekdays, weekends, or holidays. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the CST assists with cesarean sections by setting up and preparing surgical procedures for physicians and surgical staff. The role also supports and communicates with surgical teams and supervisory staff. Most of the position’s time is spent supporting Maternity Center patients and the unit through patient rooming, chart setup, taking vital signs, bathing babies, stocking supplies, and performing Unit Clerk and Certified Nursing Assistant duties.
