About The Position

As a Certified Obstetric Surgical Technologist at HCA Healthcare, you will be part of a collaborative team focused on safely delivering newborns and providing compassionate care. You will prepare the surgical suite, support the team during obstetric procedures, and help ensure a safe, seamless patient experience. Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of the employment start date.
• High school graduate or GED.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery - Certified (TS-C).
• Minimum 6 months of experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical suite and organize instruments, equipment, and supplies for safe, efficient procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining patient comfort, privacy, and safety.
• Provide instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field, perform counts, and ensure instruments and equipment function properly.
• Work closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience.
