About The Position

MountainView Hospital is seeking a Certified Obstetric Surgical Technologist to join a collaborative team focused on safely delivering newborns and providing high-quality, compassionate obstetric surgical care. The role prepares the surgical suite, supports the surgical team during procedures, and helps ensure patients receive safe, respectful, patient-centered care. Training, mentorship, predictable scheduling with on-call support, and opportunities for growth are described as available.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
• Current certification by the Liaison Council of Certification of the Association of Surgical Technologist.
• At least 1 year of experience in a health care setting; Labor and Delivery experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical suite and organize instruments, equipment, and supplies for safe, efficient procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety.
• Provide instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field, perform counts, and ensure instruments and equipment function properly.
• Work with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience.
