Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
- Medical Assistant Certificate from an accredited school
- Bilingual in Spanish is required
- Ability to Drive to cover other locations (rules apply)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers
- Knowledge of medical terminology, lab procedures, and healthcare workflows
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree in healthcare-related field
- 1 year of MA experience
- 6 months of EHR documentation experience
- Phlebotomy training
Responsibilities
- Play a vital role in both clinical and administrative functions to ensure smooth operations and exceptional patient care.
- Take and record vital signs.
- Prepare patients for exams.
- Assist with procedures.
- Manage documentation in the EHR system.
- Support front office tasks such as scheduling, registration, and patient communications.
