About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or high school equivalency.
• TSA Security awareness training is required.
• Valid Class C driver's license with a good driving record; an equivalent state driver's license is acceptable. Texas residents must obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 30 days of establishing residency.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., and on weekends.
• Ability to work fully onsite, indoors and outdoors in all kinds of weather, and tolerate exposure to heights, fumes and odors, chemicals, gas vapors, and constant noise.
• Ability to distinguish colors and hear.
• Ability to drive, climb, kneel, squat, stand, stoop, twist, walk, lift objects up to 75 pounds, carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 100 pounds, and hold up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to use and care for tools and equipment common to the trade.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees.
• Ability to read and comprehend procedural instructions.
• Selected applicants are subject to a background investigation and drug/alcohol screening.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of standard practices, methods, and tools used in fueling and towing various aircraft and equipment.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Formal or informal training in aircraft movement and fueling points for various aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Marshal, fuel, tow, and provide hangar storage and other ground support for aircraft.
• Coordinate and direct ramp movements for arriving and departing aircraft.
• Operate ground service equipment, including tugs, fuel trucks, and transport vans.
• Perform ground maintenance.
• Examine equipment and report deficiencies to the supervisor.
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
• Maintain an inventory of items used in maintenance and repair work.
• Complete equipment preventive maintenance checklists and daily equipment maintenance reports.
• Provide proactive, personalized service to private and business aviation clientele.
• Provide shuttle service for passengers and crew as required.
• Perform other duties as required.
