About The Position

The Line Service Technician represents Ascension FBO in a positive and professional manner while providing aviation ground services to customers. The role supports arriving and departing aircraft and provides customer service to crew members and passengers. Performance is evaluated primarily on safe operation in accordance with established procedures and on creating a positive customer experience. The work is performed outdoors and may involve extreme temperatures and inclement weather.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum age of 18.
Excellent customer-relations skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong verbal communication skills and ability to write legibly.
Basic math skills.
Possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
Stable job history.
Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures and inclement weather.
Excellent vision and coordination to move or direct fuel trucks and hoses.
Ability to frequently walk, stretch, bend, sit, stoop, reach, grasp, and climb.
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
May be required to maintain a valid state commercial driver's license (CDL) and certifications for operating material-handling equipment, as necessary.

Responsibilities

Participate actively in new-hire and recurrent training.
Conduct operations in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Maintain high levels of safety and customer service, and treat others with courtesy and respect.
Fuel and tow aircraft, wing walk, and provide general aircraft ground support in accordance with established procedures.
Marshal and greet aircraft in a professional and friendly manner.
Perform periodic checks of equipment and facilities and document findings.
Keep ramps, facilities, and hangars clean and organized and free of debris and clutter.
Communicate customer feedback to appropriate Ascension FBO personnel.
Perform assigned lawn care and janitorial services.
Immediately report safety incidents or hazards to appropriate management.
Initiate emergency and incident response procedures as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
