About The Position
Join an Award-Winning Personal Injury Law Firm as a Junior Accountant! WANTED: Detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your accounting career in a collaborative legal environment where accuracy and teamwork are valued.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
- 1 - 3+ years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Payroll Processing
- Paylocity Exposure Preferred

Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries with a high level of accuracy
- Perform account reconciliations, including balance sheet accounts
- Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
- Support accounting operations across multiple systems during system transitions
- Work within a legal practice management software
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data
- Assist with audit preparation and provide supporting documentation
- Identify discrepancies and assist in resolving accounting issues
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records
