About The Position

At MJH Life Sciences, we are looking for a Junior Accountant who is eager to grow into a future finance leader. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, conferred within the last 12 months.
Strong academic record.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel — pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and the ability to learn advanced functions quickly.
Strong analytical mindset and genuine curiosity about how businesses operate.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and personal accountability for your work.
Working knowledge of AI and desire to build further.

Nice To Haves

CPA-eligible or actively pursuing CPA licensure is a significant plus.

Responsibilities

Support the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals.
Prepare bank reconciliations and investigate variances.
Help maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP.
Contribute to the preparation of internal financial reports and support external audit requests.
Identify process inefficiencies and propose improvements.
Partner cross-functionally with business unit leaders to understand the "why" behind the numbers.
