About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of bookkeeping, accounting, or operational accounting experience.
• Experience working in a remote, fast-paced business environment where priorities shift quickly.
• Proficiency with Excel and QuickBooks.
• A proactive, results-driven mindset and willingness to take ownership of work.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
• Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Record and categorize financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Organize and maintain accounting records, financial documentation, and company files.
• Perform reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and help ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with Federal Excise Tax (FET) filings and payment preparation.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other day-to-day accounting activities.
• Help prepare information needed for month-end close and other recurring accounting processes.
• Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks, ERP systems, Excel, and other financial systems.
• Support special projects and other accounting initiatives as the company grows.
• Respond to requests for documentation, answers, and support in a dependable and organized manner.
• Help improve processes to make the finance team more efficient and scalable.
