About The Position

Good Greek Moving & Storage is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join its growing finance team. The role requires a strong foundation in accounting principles and 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience. It offers the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility in a fast-paced, collaborative environment within one of Florida’s leading relocation companies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, or similar.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjusting entries.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and internal management reports.
• Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with tax preparation, filings, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors by providing requested documentation.
• Track and monitor fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and expense reports.
• Identify discrepancies and proactively resolve accounting issues.
