About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Cost Accounting Assistant to support our Cost Accountant in managing day-to-day cost controlling, inventory tracking, and manufacturing data management. Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred (open to recent graduates with strong Excel skills).
• 0–2 years of experience in an administrative, clerical, or accounts payable (AP) role, ideally within a manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environment.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (must be comfortable with VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and basic formulas).
• Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and effective at cross-functional collaboration.
• Able to work closely with accounting, warehouse, and production team to ensure efficient operations and accurate coordination.
• Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and high-pressure environment.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or QuickBooks) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily data entry for manufacturing orders, material movements, and labor hours.
• Verify the accuracy of production logs against ERP system records.
• Help reconcile cycle count results and physical inventory audits.
• Track and investigate minor inventory discrepancies under the guidance of the Cost Accountant.
• Perform three-way matching (Purchase Order, Receiving Report, and Invoice) for manufacturing-related expenses and raw material purchases.
• Assist in preparing weekly/monthly cost analysis reports, scrap logs, and variance spreadsheets using MS Excel.
• Maintain organized digital archiving for cost records, bill of materials (BOM) updates, and audit documentation.
• Assist with internal and external audit preparations.
• Other responsibilities will be assigned as needed.
