Our innovative business is experiencing rapid growth, and we are looking for a Full-Time Inventory Control Coordinator for our Richmond location. This role involves organizing and rotating stock, and fulfilling orders.

Requirements

  • Experience in a warehouse environment with inventory control experience.
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to perform fundamental mathematical functions.
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, presentation, email and internet software applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and be able to work independently or within a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all items in the warehouse are accurate, audited, received and stored.
  • Ensure inventory will meet customer demands efficiently.
  • Work directly with Management to advise on stock inflow and outflow.
  • Compile inventory information and present it to Management for effective decision making, which may include the need for restocking.
  • Provide recommendations to Management and Sales Leaders.
  • Provide accurate information on inventory to customers to guide them on order availability.
  • Initiate policy changes regarding inventory in the Company.
  • Investigate inaccuracies in the inventory system and execute necessary improvements towards better business performance focusing on customer satisfaction.
  • Perform coaching functions to staff where necessary; work with Management where discipline may be required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
