About The Position

The Placement Specialist on the Business Insurance Select team develops new client relationships by providing prompt, courteous, knowledgeable service and evaluating new-business referrals for viability. The role involves directly contacting clients to gather application information, obtaining quotes from insurance markets, and guiding proposals through to binding coverage. Success depends on collaboration within the team, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Hold a North Carolina Property & Casualty insurance license, or be able to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
  • Have 2 or more years of relevant sales experience and/or Business Insurance (P&C) industry experience.
  • Ability to consistently meet annual sales goals.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently and on an ongoing basis in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • College diploma or equivalent work experience in insurance or financial services.
