About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least two years of data management and reporting experience with a healthcare focus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Proficiency with SQL and/or Tableau.
• Advanced analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to understand and analyze large data sets and present findings clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, including people without an analytical background.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functional areas.
• Broad knowledge of healthcare finance and accounting.
• Customer service focus.

Nice To Haves

• Five or more years of data management and reporting experience with a healthcare focus.
• Hospital and physician contracting experience.

Responsibilities

• Leverage existing data systems to meet the organization's information management needs.
• Understand underlying data structures, access data, and deliver it in understandable and usable formats related to software and healthcare operations.
• Assess medical informatics environments, synthesize relevant information, and create standard reporting that meets business and clinical needs.
• Collaborate with leadership and executive management to develop new and enhanced reporting templates, including supplemental data submissions for population health incentive programs.
• Serve as an informatics liaison for related activities and the integration of programs and products with organization-wide electronic activities.
• Collaborate with staff using internal and external resources to support organizational research, discovery, and analysis.
• Work with staff to implement practices, procedures, and technology that maintain and enrich the organization's information resources throughout their lifecycle.
• Consult with Management, Information Technology, training, and operations on information management practices for software development initiatives.
• Demonstrate competency in Azara and Cognos and support the development, support, and enhancement of these tools.
• Form and support detailed project plans and communicate progress and deadline expectations to management.
• Work with the Manager of Quality to identify reporting needs, define specifications, and produce reports that support business decisions.
• Produce and analyze standard reports and dashboards monthly, investigate variances, and determine their drivers.
• Collaborate with Clinical, Operations, Revenue Cycle, and Finance teams to identify revenue and cost drivers and develop and monitor remediation activities.
• Support growth initiatives and other identified revenue drivers.
