About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or Engineering or equivalent in education and experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing and quality systems – Lean, Six Sigma, IATF, etc.
• Strong leadership, conflict management, problem solving, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience as a Production Manager, Operations Manager, or Plant Manager.
• Knowledge of automotive air and cabin air filter manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment.
• Maintains a safety-first culture throughout facility. Works with EH&S staff to establish and ensure implementation of safety standards.
• Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget and facility objectives are met.
• Monitors demand and capacity information to maintain appropriate hourly labor levels.
• Develops systems and processes that track and optimize safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Effectively communicates at all levels and supports communication throughout the facility.
• Establishes goals, conducts performance appraisals and provides coaching and guidance for direct reports.
• Assists Plant Manager in the development of budgets.
• Develops and supports programs that provide training and motivation, resolution of employee problems, and coordination of work efforts.
• Supports and ensures enforcement of company policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties, as assigned.
