About The Position

Elite Security & Staffing is hiring licensed Unarmed Security Officers to work events and venues across North County, including the Del Mar Fair, San Diego State University, Petco Park, and other locations. Security Officers help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, staff, vendors, and clients. Scheduling is flexible based on events and client needs; shifts may include days, swing shifts, graveyard shifts, weekends, and holidays. Hours and pay may vary by venue and event.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must hold a valid California Security Guard Card and complete required BSIS training.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must complete all required company and state training.
• Must have reliable transportation to job sites.
• Must be dependable, professional, and flexible.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Visible tattoos on the face, neck, or hands are not permitted.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to guests, clients, and vendors.
• Maintain a strong security presence through standing and walking patrols.
• Conduct bag checks and enforce venue policies.
• Protect client property and help ensure a safe environment.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies according to company procedures.
• Observe, report, and accurately document incidents.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors, team members, and venue staff.
• Make sound decisions in fast-paced environments.
