About The Position

Securitas is hiring a Security Guard to help maintain a safe and secure environment for clients. The role includes actively monitoring premises and patrolling locations, preserving order, and enforcing site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. Security Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. No prior experience is necessary. Applicants with retail, food service, or hospitality backgrounds may be a good fit; training is provided. The position pays $18.00 or more per hour and offers weekly pay and opportunities for growth within the company.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.
Pass a drug screen and background check.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Ability to perform frequent sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods; duties may involve climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
