Security Officer Armed Patrol Position

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Position in Hialeah, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier financial institution location as an armed officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this role, you will support day-to-day operations with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a caring, reliable, and innovative culture.
Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including exterior areas, parking areas, entrances, and other designated points of interest.
- Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, observing activity, and reporting suspicious behavior, unusual conditions, and/or policy violations.
- Support security-related operations involving cash handling areas, ATM vestibules, office space, and customer-facing areas while following post orders and applicable use of force guidelines.
