About The Position

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with a primary focus on Quality Assurance automation.
• Proven track record building, maintaining, and executing automated test frameworks using Cypress and Robot Framework.
• Strong experience conducting backend API testing and validation using Postman and REST Assured.
• Solid background in test planning, test case design, defect tracking, and regression testing within Agile delivery models.
• Strong experience in several of the following areas: UI Test Automation: Hands-on experience developing test suites with Cypress and Robot Framework.
• API Testing & Validation: Proficiency in API testing tools and libraries, specifically Postman and REST Assured.
• Software Quality Principles: Strong knowledge of test design methodologies, test data management, and defect lifecycle management.
• Version Control & Collaboration: Command of Git (GitHub, GitLab) and Agile management platforms (e.g., Jira).
• Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving capabilities.
• High attention to detail with a commitment to producing reliable software quality outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Nice To Haves

• Practical experience or strong interest in Performance Testing using tools like Apache JMeter.
• Exposure to integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Basic understanding of containerization (Docker) or cloud-based testing environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and expand scalable web automation frameworks using Cypress and Robot Framework.
• Perform thorough API validation and integration testing using Postman and REST Assured to ensure backend service reliability.
• Develop, maintain, and execute end-to-end automated test suites for functional, regression, and cross-browser validation.
• Analyze automated test execution results, perform detailed root-cause analysis on failures, and log clear, reproducible defect reports.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to define test criteria, identify edge cases, and validate bug fixes.
