As a Security Officer Truck Gate in New Holland, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a welcoming, security-related environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing badge access, and responding to alarm panel activity. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support routine patrols to help deter incidents. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry logs, and direct approved individuals and vehicles in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
- Document observations, incidents, and access-control activities accurately and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
