About The Position

The Gate Access Control Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises and patrolling locations. Officers preserve order by enforcing regulations and directives concerning personnel, visitors, and the client site. They observe and report activities and incidents and may provide customer service and information to clients’ employees and customers. The position requires professionalism, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to walk long distances. Training is provided for candidates beginning a career in security.

Requirements

Proficient with computers and technology.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Professional demeanor.
Comfortable walking long distances.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Must meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Must be able to perform frequent sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods; may need to climb stairs and walk on inclines and uneven terrain.
May need to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of customer service experience.
Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background.
