About The Position

The Gate Access Control Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises and patrolling assigned locations. The officer preserves order by enforcing site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. The role may also involve providing customer service and information to client employees and customers. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided. The position pays $15.00 per hour and includes weekly pay and opportunities for growth within the company.

Requirements

Strong customer service skills.
Ability to complete patrols.
Strong technology skills, including use of a cell phone and computer.
Pass a drug screen and background check.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for security officers or guards.
Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, potentially for long periods; duties may involve climbing stairs and walking on inclines or uneven terrain.
Frequent lifting or moving of up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting or moving of up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior security or customer service experience is a plus.
Retail, food service, or hospitality experience is a good fit.
