About The Position

The Gate Access Control Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment at a client site. Duties include actively monitoring premises, patrolling locations, preserving order, and enforcing site regulations and directives concerning personnel, visitors, and the area. Officers observe and report activities and incidents to protect client property and personnel, and frequently provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. Training is provided for candidates new to the security industry.

Requirements

Proficiency with computers and technology.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
At least 1 year of customer service experience.
Professional demeanor and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent customer service skills.
Pass a drug screen and background check.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, potentially for long periods; may include climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
Frequent lifting or moving of up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting or moving of up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Security experience is preferred.
Retail, food service, or hospitality industry experience is considered a good fit.
