About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Operations in Londonderry, New Hampshire, at a pay rate of $17.80 per hour. The position provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned logistics and distribution site, with the option to claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform. The assigned weekly shift is a fixed “anchor shift” requiring a six-month commitment. Additional shifts may be picked up to increase hours, with the opportunity to build up to a full-time schedule of as many as 40 hours per week and scale back when needed.

The officer provides customer service and performs access control, site-specific security procedures, and emergency response activities. The role requires a Saturday daytime shift from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and meet the age requirement for the role. Employment is contingent on applicable background investigation and drug screening requirements. A security-related license is preferred and may be required under applicable laws.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local security licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

• A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel while carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Verify identification, credentials, delivery appointments, and/or authorization for entry and exit; maintain accurate visitor, driver, and vehicle access records.
• Monitor access points, gates, and inbound/outbound traffic to help deter unauthorized entry and support orderly movement of personnel, packages, and vehicles.
• Respond calmly and constructively to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations; communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, reporting security-related concerns and unusual activity.
