About The Position

The Access Control Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises and patrolling locations. The role preserves order by enforcing site-specific regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. The stated shift is midnight to 8 a.m., third shift only. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.
Pass a drug screen and background check.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Be able to sit, stand, and walk frequently, potentially for long periods, and climb stairs and walk on inclines and uneven terrain.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background is considered a good fit; no experience is necessary.

Responsibilities

Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site.
Help protect client property and personnel.
Actively monitor premises, including patrolling locations.
Preserve order by enforcing regulations and directives pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the site.
Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers.
