About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control in Yadkinville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, issue and collect visitor badges, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unauthorized access, unusual conditions, and security-related concerns.
• Support controlled movement of people, vehicles, materials, and deliveries in accordance with facility procedures while maintaining a professional presence at assigned access points.
