Gate Access Control Security Officer
About The Position
The Gate Access Control Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring assigned premises, observing and reporting activities and incidents, and protecting client property and personnel. Officers may patrol locations, preserve order, and enforce client-site rules and directives relating to personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. They may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. No prior experience is necessary. The employer provides training for candidates entering the security industry. Applicants must pass a drug screen and background check, have excellent customer-service skills, and meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards. The role involves frequent sitting, standing, and walking, sometimes for long periods, as well as potentially climbing stairs and walking on inclines or uneven terrain. Physical requirements may include frequent lifting or moving of up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting or moving of up to 25 pounds. The position is offered in full-time and part-time schedules. The listed wage is $18.50 or more per hour, with weekly pay and opportunities for growth within the company.
Requirements
