About The Position
HJ Staffing is hiring Food Service Workers for a healthcare facility in Savannah, GA. Candidates will assist with food preparation, meal service, kitchen sanitation, and general food service support in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during shifts
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs independently
- Comfortable working in a kitchen environment
- Slip-resistant shoes required
- Must pass criminal background screening and 10-panel drug screen
- Dependable, reliable, and team-oriented
Responsibilities
- Prepare and portion food items
- Serve meals and assist on tray line/cafeteria line
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and work areas
- Wash dishes, sweep, mop, and remove trash
- Push food carts and assist with kitchen operations
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
