FOOD SERVICE WORKER (PART TIME)
About The Position
Culinary Services Group is hiring a part-time Food Service Worker at Woodbury Wellness in Hampstead, North Carolina. The role prepares, presents, and serves food as needed. Multiple shifts are available; days and hours may vary, and rotating weekends are included. Further schedule details are provided during the interview. The fixed pay rate is $19.00 per hour. Uniforms, training and growth opportunities, free parking, and no late nights are offered. Requirements
- At least 1 year of cooking experience.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food, including washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
- Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
- Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, the stove, and the refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
- Store food in designated areas using wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
- Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
- Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
- Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, following outlined steps of service.
- Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to a supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
- Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
