About The Position

Culinary Services Group is hiring a part-time Food Service Worker at Woodland Recovery Center in Southaven, Mississippi. The role prepares, presents, and serves food as needed. No prior experience is required, and training is provided. The position pays a fixed rate of $15.50 per hour. Days and hours may vary, multiple shifts are available, and rotating weekends are required. No late nights are scheduled. A uniform and free parking are provided, along with training and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food between work stations, stoves, and refrigerators in accordance with safety standards.
Store food in designated areas using required wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner while following outlined steps of service.
Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to the supervisor.
Comply with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
