FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME)
About The Position
We are hiring a full-time Food Service Worker at Oak Hill School in Nashville, Tennessee. The position prepares, presents, and serves food as needed. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; further details will be provided during the interview. The pay range is $19.00 to $23.00 per hour. Previous kitchen prep and food service experience is preferred. Flik Independent School Dining serves private and independent school communities. Its meals use fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and its programs include nutrition education. The role follows company service standards, approved recipes and production standards, and applicable sanitation and safety requirements.

- Previous kitchen prep and food service experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food, including washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
- Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
- Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food between work stations, stoves, and refrigerators in accordance with safety standards.
- Store food in designated areas using wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
- Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
- Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
- Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, following outlined steps of service.
- Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to the supervisor.
- Follow company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
- Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
