FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME)
About The Position
The Food Service Worker prepares, presents, and serves food as needed. The role includes food preparation, handling and storage, cleaning, customer service, and adherence to food safety, sanitation, service, inventory, and cash-control standards. The position is full time at Fresh & Ready FG FL in Melbourne, Florida. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., and Saturdays, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; further details are provided upon interview. Employees work in a temperature-controlled environment and may be exposed to cold conditions for extended periods. The fixed pay rate is $15.00 per hour. Previous food production experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Prepare food by washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
- Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
- Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food between work stations, stoves, and refrigerators in accordance with safety standards.
- Store food in designated areas, following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
- Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
- Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
- Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner while following outlined service steps.
- Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to the supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash-control procedures.
- Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
