About The Position

Culinary Services Group is hiring a full-time Food Service Worker at Heartland Behavioral Health in Massillon, Ohio. The role prepares, presents, and serves food as needed. No prior experience is required. The fixed pay rate is $17.50 per hour. Days and hours may vary, and weekends and holidays may be required. Additional schedule details are provided during the interview.

Requirements

• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stoves, and refrigerators in accordance with safety standards.
• Store food in designated areas and follow wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
• Use approved recipes and production standards to ensure food quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, following outlined service steps.
• Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to a supervisor.
• Comply with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
