As one of over 100 Tosoh Corporation's family of companies our motto is "We Make the Material That Makes Your Devices Work". The Facilities Engineer organizes coordinates building projects. Also responds to service calls and performs daily maintenance duties around the Tosoh Grove City facility. Facility Engineers are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining facilities and facility equipment used to support the Tosoh campus and to ensure manufacturing equipment and processes have the necessary utilities and functional space. This position also provides technical assistance to manufacturing and maintenance personnel to ensure proper operation and maintenance of facility-based equipment. They are responsible for creating design schematics, maintenance schedules, and reports to ensure functional analysis of the facilities related equipment. They drive capital requests for facilities upgrades to ensure customer needs are met. They serve as experts in their respective areas, providing training and mentoring to other members of the department and set a positive example for those working with them through exceptional work performance and communication skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical engineering or Facilities Management preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Facility, Industrial environment.
  • Overall understanding of how the facility runs and of how equipment/utilities work.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and under time constraints.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Must be able to lift to 40 pounds frequently.
  • Frequent bending/twisting required.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

  • A contact for any building issues and emergency service calls.
  • Helps to coordinate all facility projects, that may involve energy usage, HVAC, lighting, optional power
  • Assist in coordination on small- and large-scale building repairs and new facility construction projects.
  • Assists with maintaining building security.
  • Implement daily operations and maintenance activities.
  • Available to responds to all building emergencies on a 24-hour basis.
  • Assist Facilities Manager in preparing the annual maintenance budget.
  • Assist in planning and coordination of 5S throughout the plant
  • Assist in the development and coordination of a Maintenance library
  • Performs other maintenance duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager.
  • Other related duties.
