About The Position

Bloom Energy is seeking a Facilities Engineer for its Newark, Delaware location. This fully on-site role, five days a week, oversees the maintenance and improvement of facility infrastructure, equipment, and safety systems, while managing vendor contracts to support efficient, compliant, and profitable operations. The role works with production and engineering teams to maintain reliable facility systems, improve workflows and layouts, and deliver facility and equipment projects.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience.
Prior experience within a manufacturing organization.

Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and oversee maintenance and repairs for facility infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and compressed air systems.
Ensure equipment and building systems operate efficiently and reliably.
Manage preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize workflow and facility layout.
Plan and manage building upgrades, renovations, and equipment installation projects.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and support sustainability initiatives.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and industrial regulations, including OSHA and EPA requirements.
Implement and manage safety programs, including hazardous-material procedures and emergency preparedness.
Conduct regular facility inspections and maintain compliance records.
Maintain computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) records.
Monitor and report key performance indicators for maintenance and facility operations.
Manage vendor contracts.
