About The Position

Nintendo Technology Development (NTD) is seeking a motivated, self-starting Software Engineer Intern for its Platform Security team for Summer 2027. The intern will help develop more robust static analysis tooling for security purposes, likely leveraging AI-generated code. This role offers the opportunity to grow in a fast-paced, engineering-focused environment and contribute within a small, dynamic team. The position is onsite in Redmond, Washington, and is not open to remote work. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of compilers such as Clang or GCC.
  • Experience with C or C++.
  • Solid understanding of operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering fundamentals.
  • Be a rising senior pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science or a related Engineering field.
  • Be ready to learn quickly, ask questions, and contribute in a small, dynamic team setting.
  • Be an effective communicator with strong writing skills.
  • Be available for full-time work during Summer 2027.
  • Be legally eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
