About The Position
The Concierge provides service to property residents and visitors, manages the building entrance, and monitors traffic into the buildings. The role includes warmly greeting residents and guests, sharing information about local services and events, making reservations, coordinating service requests with contractors, addressing resident and family questions or concerns, keeping lobby information current, planning social and recreational activities, and assisting residents with packages.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1–2 years of concierge or hospitality experience, required.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree in Concierge/Hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of available services and upcoming city events, keep in contact with information sources, and make dinner, theater, and local recreation reservations for residents.
- Prepare service requests and work with service contractors to ensure jobs are handled appropriately.
- Communicate with residents and families about questions or concerns; take steps to resolve issues or refer them to appropriate employees.
- Greet residents and visitors and keep the lobby bulletin board up to date with information of interest to residents.
- Plan and implement social and recreational programs for residents, such as movies, game nights, and other social events.
- Assist residents with packages.
- Manage the building entrance and monitor traffic into the buildings.
