About The Position

Planned Companies is hiring an On Call Concierge in Downtown/Midtown Manhattan, New York. The role provides a welcoming and helpful experience for tenants, guests, and vendors, while supporting the presentation and safety of the property. The concierge offers personalized services, maintains relationships with tenants, and assists with local recommendations and arrangements. The schedule requires open availability. Pay is $23.50 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of customer service experience.
• Desire and passion to provide a warm and welcoming greeting to everyone.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of local attractions and establishments.
• Polite, friendly, and self-assured, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet, announce, and direct tenants, guests, and vendors entering the building.
• Develop and maintain relationships with tenants and provide individualized experiences based on their personalities, lifestyles, needs, and expectations.
• Schedule reservations and appointments at restaurants, businesses, hotels, and entertainment venues.
• Plan and organize on-site events.
• Provide directions and referrals and help people access local entertainment, dining, retail shopping, sporting events, tourist attractions, and car services.
• Document, secure, and track mail, deliveries, and vendor services in designated areas.
• Answer telephones and monitor the lobby.
• Maintain and control keys and access cards.
