About The Position

Clearwater Newport Beach, a luxury senior living community in Newport Beach, is seeking a part-time/on-call Concierge. The Concierge is the first point of contact for visitors and helps create a warm, welcoming experience. The role includes greeting visitors, answering and routing calls, delivering messages, providing customer service, and completing administrative duties that support multiple departments. The Concierge is also a key point of contact during community emergencies.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Background clearances as required by government regulations.
Must meet health requirements, including TB.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of work experience in senior living, hospitality, or a related field.
Current First Aid/CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Keep the front entrance, lobby, and reception areas neat, clean, and organized.
Welcome people to the community by standing to greet them and offering assistance.
Answer, transfer, and deliver phone messages in a professional and courteous manner.
Monitor visitors, request that they sign in and out of the logbook, and promptly report suspicious people or activity to a supervisor.
Sort and distribute incoming mail.
Accept and report residents’ special requests.
Maintain the community’s lost-and-found system.
Order and replenish administrative supplies as needed.
Support the Executive Director and other departments with administrative functions as needed.
Maintain meal attendance tracking forms and alert staff about needed room service or residents who have not attended meals.
Ensure regulatory compliance and promptly report issues or concerns.
Follow Clearwater Living standards and policies to encourage safe and efficient operations.
Encourage teamwork through open communication with associates.
Maintain a positive, professional image and high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag.
Represent Clearwater Living principles and core values.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or required.
