About The Position

Planned Companies is hiring an On Call Concierge for its Planned Lifestyle Services team. The role provides a welcoming and helpful experience to tenants, guests, and vendors while supporting the presentation and safety of the property. The concierge builds relationships with tenants and provides services tailored to their preferences and needs, including reservations, appointments, event planning, and local recommendations. The schedule requires open availability, and the position is located in Manhattan, NY. Pay is $24 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of customer service experience.
• Desire and passion for providing a warm and welcoming greeting to everyone.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of local attractions and establishments.
• Polite, friendly, and self-assured demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet, announce, and direct tenants, guests, and vendors entering the building.
• Develop and maintain relationships with tenants, providing individualized experiences based on their personalities, lifestyles, needs, and expectations.
• Schedule reservations and appointments at restaurants, businesses, hotels, and entertainment venues.
• Plan and organize on-site events.
• Provide directions and referrals and help tenants and guests access local entertainment, dining, retail shopping, sporting events, tourist attractions, and car services.
• Document, secure, and track mail, deliveries, and vendor services in designated areas.
• Answer telephones and monitor the lobby.
• Maintain and control keys and access cards.
