About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring an on-call Housekeeper to help maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. The role performs routine housekeeping and sanitation tasks, follows infection-control and safety procedures, maintains cleaning records, and provides positive customer service to residents, staff, and guests. Pay starts at $17.79 per hour and may vary based on location, experience, staffing needs, and other business factors. Residency within the service area is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Be able to work around cleaning products.
• Be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices as part of daily housekeeping tasks.
• Clean and sanitize areas in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection-control and universal-precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
