About The Position

Crothall Healthcare is hiring an on-call Housekeeper at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi. The role performs light cleaning duties to maintain a clean and orderly healthcare establishment, including cleaning rooms and halls, making beds, replenishing and changing linens, and vacuuming. The position is scheduled on call, Sunday through Saturday, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; open availability is preferred. The fixed pay rate is $15.07 per hour. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide quality customer service with attention to detail.
Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash sanitarily.
Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
Wipe down glass surfaces.
Make beds and change linens as required.
Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout.
Respond to guest queries and requests.
Respond to housekeeping problems such as spills and broken glasses.
Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow associates, and others.
Perform other duties as assigned.
