About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring an on-call Housekeeper to help maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. The role involves cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices; following sanitation, safety, and infection-control procedures; maintaining cleaning records; and reporting maintenance or safety issues. The Housekeeper is expected to interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must be able to perform repetitive tasks, work around cleaning products, follow oral and written instructions, and meet the physical demands of the role. Residency within the service area is required, as is compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

The listed pay rate is $16.90–$19.00 per hour. Actual pay may vary based on objective factors such as location, years of experience, staffing needs, and other business reasons.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Ability to work around cleaning products.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Residency within the service area is required.

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Clean and sanitize areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection-control and universal-precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
