About The Position
MMS Group is seeking an experienced, bilingual part-time Concierge for an 88-unit residential property in New York, NY. The role requires hospitality and security skills, a professional and articulate presence with residents and guests, and responsibility for maintaining building access and security. The Concierge monitors security camera feeds and building entrances, screens visitors, and promptly escalates potential security or building issues to the resident manager.
Requirements
- Fluency in Mandarin/Chinese.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work well with others as a team player.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Exemplary work ethic and attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a concierge in residential buildings.
- Prior direct experience and a proven track record in a similar role.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional presence and communicate articulately with residents and guests.
- Maintain proper building access and security for residents, employees, and guests.
- Monitor security camera feeds and in-person building entrances.
- Recognize and promptly escalate potential security or other building issues to the resident manager.
- Screen all visitors to the building.
