About The Position

The North America Communications Specialist supports the development and execution of strategic communications and marketing initiatives across the US and Canada markets. This role is responsible for writing, editing, coordinating, and executing high-quality communications that support product launches, promotions, events, and business initiatives for LifeWave Brand Partners and customers. This role is ideal for someone who loves writing, thrives on organization, cares deeply about audience experience, and takes pride in producing polished, thoughtful, and strategically aligned communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field preferred.
  • 3–6+ years of experience in communications, marketing, copywriting, content development, or related roles.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and grammar skills.
  • Strong understanding of brand voice, audience engagement, and communication best practices.
  • Experience writing for email marketing, SMS campaigns, websites, and promotional communications.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain strong attention to detail across fast-moving projects.
  • Proficient in English required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AP Style preferred.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms and communication workflows is preferred.
  • Experience using Smartsheet or similar project management tools preferred.
  • Understanding of wireframing, branding principles, email best practices, and SMS best practices preferred.
  • Experience in direct sales, network marketing, wellness, lifestyle, or entrepreneurial-focused industries strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Write and copyedit weekly newsletters, email campaigns, SMS messaging, website copy, promotional messaging, and related communication materials.
  • Execute communication plans developed in partnership with the Senior Manager, Communications & Marketing – North America.
  • Support messaging development for product launches, promotions, incentives, events, and corporate initiatives.
  • Occasionally support press release drafting and related corporate communications.
  • Ensure messaging remains clear, engaging, compliant, and aligned with the LifeWave brand voice across channels.
  • Track communication deliverables, deadlines, approvals, and campaign timelines within Smartsheet to support efficient project execution.
  • Coordinate closely with the Email Manager to ensure accurate implementation and deployment of email and SMS campaigns.
  • Proofread final communications and review layouts prior to approval and distribution.
  • Help maintain organized workflows and communication processes across multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Develop creative briefs that guide visual asset creation for campaigns and communications.
  • Collaborate with Creative, Product Marketing, Events, Sales, and Communications team members to support cohesive campaign execution.
  • Contribute messaging ideas and strategic recommendations that enhance audience engagement and communication effectiveness.
  • Help maintain consistency in messaging, tone, and communication quality across North America channels.
  • Collaborate closely with the Bilingual Communications Specialist to ensure alignment between bilingual communications.
  • Apply audience awareness and strong editorial judgment to create communications centered around the Brand Partner experience.
