About The Position
PODS Enterprises, LLC is seeking a CDL Driver - Class B to join our team. This role is responsible for operating commercial vehicles and ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods. The ideal candidate will possess a valid CDL Class B license, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently. This position offers a competitive hourly wage and a comprehensive benefits package.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid CDL Class B License Required without air brake restriction
- Must maintain a current/valid driver license
- Must meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards
- Must be at least 21 years of age (insurance requirement)
- Possess a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or ability to obtain a minimum of a 1 year certification (DOT requirement)
- Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience
Nice To Haves
- Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate a commercial vehicle in a safe and efficient manner.
- Transport goods according to established schedules and routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups.
- Attend a required 2-week New Hire Driver Training Program.
